BruhBoard is a local macOS menu bar sound toy. It is intended for personal entertainment and lightweight utility use.

You may not resell, rent, share publicly, modify, bypass, or redistribute BruhBoard license keys, binaries, app assets, or licensing systems.

You are responsible for using BruhBoard in environments where keyboard-triggered sounds are appropriate and permitted.

BruhBoard is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for workflow interruption, misuse, indirect damages, or issues caused by unsupported modification or redistribution.

Payments are processed by Polar as Merchant of Record. Polar issues BruhBoard license keys automatically after checkout.

Refund requests may be reviewed for duplicate purchases, payment completed but license key not available, activation problems that support cannot resolve, or technical issues that prevent the app from being used as described.

Refund eligibility may depend on whether the license key has already been delivered, activated, or used, whether the purchase can be verified, whether the request is related to a technical or delivery issue, and how much time has passed since purchase.

If you entered the wrong email during checkout, contact support with the email used for Polar checkout, payment date, and transaction reference if available. Support may help locate or correct the purchase record when it can be verified. Refund eligibility may depend on whether the license key has already been delivered, activated, or used.

If BruhBoard does not activate correctly, contact support with the error message shown in the app so the purchase, license, or activation issue can be checked. Activation problems that cannot be resolved may be reviewed.

BruhBoard is a local macOS app. In V1, it does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, account login, cloud sync, or remote usage reporting.

macOS Input Monitoring permission is needed because BruhBoard reacts to key presses outside its own window. The permission is used for local sound playback and the emergency mute shortcut.

For normal sound playback, BruhBoard uses keyDown occurrence signals. For the emergency mute shortcut, the app transiently checks the key event information necessary to detect Option + Command + M.

BruhBoard does not collect, store, log, display, analyze, or transmit typed text, typed characters, key history, focused app names, focused window titles, or shortcut detection data.

Payment information is handled by Polar checkout, not by the BruhBoard app. The app does not contain payment credentials, API tokens, webhook secrets, or private signing keys.

BruhBoard may contact Polar License Keys to activate and check your license. License activation is separate from keyboard input. BruhBoard does not send typed text, key events, sound choices, or focused app/window information during license checks.

Local preferences and license status may be stored using standard macOS app storage and Keychain storage.

A BruhBoard personal license is a one-time purchase for individual use. Each license key may be used on 1 Mac at a time.

If you switch Macs, use "Deactivate this Mac" in the app to free up an activation before activating another Mac. If you no longer have access to a Mac or need activation help, contact support and we will help review the issue.

License activations are managed through Polar License Keys.

You may not share license keys publicly, resell license keys, rent license keys, redistribute BruhBoard, or bypass licensing systems.

Future updates may be provided, but purchase of BruhBoard does not guarantee access to every future paid version, major upgrade, premium edition, or automatic update system.

The app download is provided as a signed and notarized Mac DMG. Open the DMG, then drag BruhBoard to Applications.
